The Shire has invested in an extensive amount of unique and historical items, both indigenous to the land and relevant to our exhibits. These items will be well placed in their different categories and exhibitions throughout the Shire to engage the public’s interest and provide us with historical knowledge in our past and present eras. Our items are sure to attract and provide hope, inspiration and knowledge to many.
Many, but not all, of our museum artifacts, whether vintage or new, refurbished or innovative creations will be for sale in a large flea market style format. We will receive and process, repurpose and revitalize items and artifacts to resell or donate to the public. However our vintage pieces will be appraised for their true market value as we desire to utilize most of these for our exhibits. We will value and display all these pieces in their functional environment as we believe art from our past, present, and future should be on display for all to enjoy, as we aspire to inspire the imagination!
Here at the Shire, we have purchased and currently are housing many unique vintage and antique items. Many of our items are for future exhibits, interactive displays and décor for our offices, studios and research centers. We will be selling quite a few of our overflow items to raise money for the Shire. In fact 100% of all proceeds go directly to the Stoney Shire to enable us to create and grow the Community Center and it’s platform.
